About Us

I am a middle aged (50) father of two and by virtue of the fact that in 2022 I sold my engineering business have found myself after 33-years of work unemployed and not willing to forego the freedom and flexibility that this has offered me to look to re-enter the workforce anytime soon. Our children have recently left home with our daughter graduating university in 2024 and our son starting his second year of a five year degree course and therefore with our only live-in dependents being two small dogs it is time to indulge in our joint passion for travel and adventure.

I am a middle aged (53) mother of two, having spent the last 22 years raising my wonderful kids, working part time as a muskuloskeletal physiothereapist and then for the last 10 years as a pilates instructor and helping out at my husbands business we have now seen our daughter graduate and are seeing our son start his second year at Uni. This change in parenting duties coincided with the change in Chris’s work situation, affording us the opportunity to grab life by the horns and start to have our own adventures again.
